Evergreen Brick Works – Land-based Cultural Teachings

Come to the Brick Works on Sunday for medicine gardening, spring feast and more. For parents and caregivers with children 0-6 and their families.
Meet at the Burrow Building, Nature School by the Teepee
10:00- 11:30 am (Indigenous families only) This will give Indigenous families a chance to connect. The teachings will focus on language and the land.
11:30- 1:00 pm (Opened to all families) Free play
1:00- 2:30 pm (Opened to all families) Weekly programming may include medicine teachings, land-based teachings, gardening, language, and cultural teachings
At the land-based cultural teachings, you will build a relationship with our food, medicine, land, plants, and animals!
In our program, families will:
- Build relationships with plants
- Reconnect with the land
- Play outside!
- Grow and garden on the land
- Drumming and singing
- Story-telling
